The Social Ministry
The aim of the social ministry is to demonstrate God's love to persons in our community. In simple but effective ways the Social Ministry has touched the lives of our members as well as those of the wider community. The activities include:
- Financial contributions to shut-in members
- Visitations to sick and shut-in members
- Seasonal meal being served to the needy
- Occasional blood pressure checks
- Distribution of toiletries and toys at Christmas
- Health information on Sundays
- Availability of persons to consult with regarding health and other issues of concern
- Assisting the needy children from the Wentworth community
